For a very limited time, Constellations by Nick Payne returns to the stage at Evergreen Cultural Centre before continuing its BC tour.

If you missed the original Vancouver run, this is your last chance to experience an intimate, mind-bending love story that explores choice, chance, and the infinite possibilities of a single relationship.

A Pulitzer Prize winning work, English by Sanaz Toossi is an intimate and quietly devastating exploration of the relationship between language and identity. Set among Iranian students preparing for an English proficiency exam, the play asks a deceptively simple question: what do we gain and what do we lose when we translate ourselves to be understood?

For anyone who has ever lived between languages or cultures, English reflects a reality that is deeply familiar, tenderly observed, and rarely given space on stage. Its themes resonate far beyond the immigrant experience, touching on power, education, and the ways language shapes how we are seen and how we see ourselves.

A thoughtful and timely piece that invites reflection long after the curtain call.
